Charlie Rae Walker is an internationally collected Canadian artist who tells
dream-like stories through diverse media.
Based in Winnipeg , Her paintings, prints, projects and live performances offer affection and whimsy to the mysterious, haunted corners of the heart.
Over her 2 decades of practice, Charlie has studied and collaborated with many poets, storytellers, painters, printmakers, musicians, songwriters and puppeteers in Canada, Australia, Europe and Mexico.
Beginning her artistic journey as an avid mail artist and zine maker in the 90's in Australia, Charlie has maintained a constant practice exploring
themes of migration, folklore, Scottish and Irish heritage, synesthesia, mental health, humour, and intuition.
As a musician, She has produced several original albums and collaborations under the nomiker A Raven Called Crow, as well as various experimental music projects.
